Description
Rare decays such as $B \to K \ell^+ \ell^-$ provide a sensitive probe of flavor dynamics and possible new physics. A major theoretical challenge in describing these processes lies in the treatment of nonlocal hadronic effects, which arise from the interplay of quark-level operators with long-distance QCD dynamics. In this talk, I will discuss the computation of these nonlocal contributions, particularly those associated with the chromomagnetic operator $\mathcal{O}_8$, using light-cone sum rules (LCSR).
