The discovery of CP violation in charm meson decays has opened a new field of research, the detailed understanding of CP asymmetries in charm hadrons. In addition to more precise measurements of the two-body final state that led to the discovery, two further avenues demand detailed investigations. The discovery of CP violation in additional decays to elucidate the nature of the observed asymmetry, and the search for time-dependent CP asymmetries. The former includes also decays of charmed baryons. In both cases, the use of multi-body final states offers promising approaches to improve the sensitivity to these phenomena. The talk will give an overview of the latest status of the field and comment on future directions.
