Questions to theory from experimentalists point of view: (AG: my personal input) ======================================================== * Which are the cases where predictions exist which have smaller uncertainties than existing measurements -> improving measurements would improve tests of theory example: Gamma_semileptonic(D+)/Gamma_semileptonic(D0) (talk Maria Laura) * Which are the cases where predictions exist without any direct measurement? -> first measurement would provide test of this part of theory example: inclusive B_s -> mu nu X branching fraction (from discussions) decay measurements in b baryon sector? (c baryon sector?) * Which existing measurements with uncertainties smaller than theory uncertainties could be used to constrain theory, such that further reduction of experimental uncertainties can be helpful? example: Bag parameters from charm (see bag parameter discussion session) What can experiment do for lifetimes? input kindly collected by Alexander + more from discussion ===================================== * Semi-leptonic inclusive decays of Bs, Lambda_b, D+,D0,Ds-mesons, c-baryons (for the latter, e.g. historical "jumps" of Omega_c lifetime to be checked; is Lambda_b/B semileptonic branching fraction ratio close to 1 (~0.9) or not?)      -> the best of all worlds: moment analysis * Flavour-specific asymmetries (final states that distinguish B0(s) and B0(s)bar)    - semi-leptonic decays as general BSM search (my addition: how? I.e. what should we measure?)    - Bs -> Ds pi: to test non-leptonic anomalies (see talk Alexander) Try to measure decay time dependence of asymmetry? * Delta Gamma_d: to test di muon asymmetry (see talk Alexander) (my addition: anything we can do beyond making existing B->Jpsi K,K*,phi lifetime measurements more precise?) * momentum spectra of non-leptonic semiinclusive final states, e.g. B-> D(*)X, D -> K(*)X, ... * isospin asymmetries for B->sgamma (e.g. K*+gamma, K*0 gamma) * B0(s) -> pi+pi-, K^+K^- * More complicated hadrinoc final states like B_s -> phi rho^0 * double tag e+e- -> bbbar -> right/wrong sign D* pairs (checks b->ccbar s contributions) Experimental issues: ==================== * Resolve tensions between existing measurements (see e.g. talk Maria S) * Find ways to disentangle detector asymmetries from physics asymnmetries, e.g. by adding decay time dependence (where possible)
