Description
For many years, there have been discrepancies in a variety of experimental measurements b->sll processes.
While the recent update from LHCb suggests that the electron and muon final states behave the same, the deviations in the muon modes remain reasonably significant.
After introducing these anomalies, I will describe how a leptoquark model without lepton couplings can explain the current data in b->sll, as well as how such a model is constrained by other areas of B meson physics.
There will also be a brief discussion of the collider hints for a light new scalar, and the historical "missing charm puzzle".
