Description

Studies of b→sll decays play a major role in indirect New Physics searches. The seminar presents the most recent measurements of the angular observables of the B0 → K∗(892)0μ+μ− decay from the CMS experiment at the LHC. The analysis is performed on 140 fb-1 of data collected at sqrt(13) TeV,  in bins of the squared invariant mass of the dimuon system. The results are among the most precise experimental measurements of the angular observables for this decay, and are compared to various predictions based on the standard model.
