Description

Precision measurements of the top quark mass at the LHC have proven to be notoriously challenging, primarily due to the difficulty of identifying observables that can simultaneously offer both high mass sensitivity and robust theoretical control. In this talk, I will present a novel method for extracting the top quark mass using angular correlations in the hadronic energy flux. I will highlight key features and advantages of this approach, including its theoretical robustness and its statistical feasibility at the LHC.
